Hi, I’m Alexandra Balan, but everyone calls me Sasha.

I’m a 2D animator & illustrator based in London.

I have 8 years of experience working on diverse projects such as feature films (The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse - Oscar & BAFTA winner for Best Animated Short), commercial projects & online shorts which have reached over 9 million views.

I graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2015.

My influences range from Art Deco to Samurai Jack to Aeon Flux.

My interests include sci-fi & fantasy books, video games, long forest hikes, deep diving into ancient cultures and modern languages.
